Arrive at Belize City's Goldson International Airport, where you will be met by a hotel representative after clearing customs, then transferred to a Cayo District hotel.

The beautiful Cayo District is situated on the western side of Belize and features lush jungles, exotic wildlife, and fantastic river, Mayan, and caving adventures.

Spend a full day floating along underground waterways, past glistening cave walls, observing the crystal formations inside.

The Mayans used these caves a thousand years ago and fascinating artifacts remain. Beautiful stalactites, stalagmites, and the very immensity of the cave itself will take your breath away.

Lunch will be served in the cave. Overnight at Cayo District hotel.

In the morning, enjoy a 2-3 hour horseback ride through lush jungle trails, suitable for all levels of riders.

Afterward, head to a local community...Spanish Lookout (home of the Mennonites), Valley of Peace, or the Creole villages of the Western Highway.

Today, enjoy an early morning boat trip. Meander downstream while your guide points out birds, iguanas, crocodiles, and other creatures that inhabit the Belize River.

Upon your return, travel by land to Belize City, and then take a short flight to either Ambergris Caye, a small island at the end of the Yucatan Peninsula, or Placencia, a beautiful coastal destination on the south-central coast of Belize.
